Zines

Photography zines are intimate, independent publications that celebrate the art of visual storytelling. Often self-published in limited editions, they provide photographers with a creative platform free from the constraints of commercial publishing. Combining carefully curated images with thoughtful design, a photography zine transforms a collection of photographs into a tactile viewing experience, inviting readers to slow down and engage with the work page by page.

Whether documenting everyday life, exploring social issues, capturing street scenes, or presenting fine art projects, photography zines offer a personal and authentic expression of a photographer’s vision, making them treasured objects for collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone who values the enduring power of the printed image.

Enclosed in this page, we present a selection of Zines both created by individual PhotoBath members and Zines collectively created as part of exhibitions and projects.

The Unite the Country March, held in central London on 16 May 2026, brought tens of thousands onto the streets in protest.

Through a series of documentary-style images with a creative twist, this zine captures the mood, energy, and character of the day.

Work 2019

By Daz Smith

I  created this limited edition (ONLY 100 printed), 40 page Zine. This showcases some of my favorite captures during 2019. It’s been a year of turmoil in the UK, and I have photographed many of the marches, demonstrations & protests from Climate change to pro and anti-Brexit demos.  The images range from street photography to documentary photography on my travels and photography education.

In purchasing one of these, you are helping me expand and grow my photography. Hopefully, one day the signed limited editions will become something more and maybe of value or collectible.

Thank you for all your kind comments and support.
